Instructions For Voting on the ExpressVote XL Machines
Official Statement regarding the ExpressVote XL Voting machines:
'The voting systems used in Northampton, Philadelphia and Cumberland counties were tested rigorously by the Pennsylvania Department of State and the federal government. They have been used successfully, with their results confirmed in audits, in several Pennsylvania elections. They are certified for use in the November 2021 election, and voters can and should have confidence in their accuracy.
In the NEDC case, the Petitioners speculate about hypothetical problems that, they claim, could develop with the machines' operations. It is important to note that the Petitioners and their lawyers have not shown that these problems have ever occurred, or could occur, in real life. Judge Brobson found that the Petitioners had alleged enough to be permitted to conduct discovery, but that does not mean that they will be able to prove their case. In fact, similar cases brought in other courts have all failed. The department remains confident in the merits of its defense in this case, which the Court has not yet had the opportunity to review or address.'
Respectfully,
