Notice of General Primary Election on April 23, 2024, and General Election on November 5, 2024

NOTICE

In accordance with the Pennsylvania Election Code, 25 P.S. § 2866, notice is hereby given to the electorate of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, of the offices for which candidates are to be nominated or elected at the General Primary Election on Tuesday, April 23, 2024; and for which candidates are to be elected to office at the General Election on November 5, 2024. Between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M., on said date at the various Polling Places, in the respective Election Districts in the County of Northampton.

Electors of the – DEMOCRATIC AND REPUBLICAN – parties will assemble and vote, according to law, for the nomination of candidates for the following Public Offices:

COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA:

The following are the public offices and the number to be nominated at the General Primary on April 23, 2024, and elected at the General Election on November 5, 2024, and for which nomination petitions must be filed in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

1 – President of the United States

1 – United States Senator

1 – United States Representative – 7th District

1 – Attorney General

1 – Auditor General

1 – State Treasurer

6 – Representatives in the General Assembly (one for each district: 131st, 135th, 136th, 137th, 138th, and 183rd)

Delegates to the National Convention (Democrats elect 7) (Republicans elect 3)

Alternate Delegates to the National Convention (Republicans elect 3)

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY:

The following are the local party offices and number to be elected at the General Primary April 23, 2024, and for which the nomination petitions must be filed in the office of the Northampton County Board of Elections no later than February 13, 2024:
