Check Your Polling Place Before May 19 Primary
Northampton County Election Division is implementing the redistricting plan approved by the Court of Common Pleas in preparation for the May 2026 General Primary.
Several suburban districts have seen significant population growth in recent years, particularly in Forks Township and Palmer Township. In some areas, a single polling district included 3,000 to 5,000 voters, creating long election day lines, delays at check-in tables, and strain on facilities. The goal of the redistricting is to make voting easier and more accessible for the residents of Northampton County.
Residents affected by these changes will receive updated voter registration cards and see new polling district names All voters are encouraged to confirm their polling location prior to election day. Check the Elections Division “Find Your Polling Place” tool [LINK] available for residents to find out if their polling place has changed.
The Northampton County Elections Division will have ongoing communication about the changes with the appropriate municipalities and cities.
Polling District consolidations and boundary changes can be seen in the following charts. You can find maps of the redistricting on Northampton County Elections website.
